Observation of a new near-red band of the NaCs molecule

Abstract: A new near-red band of the NaCs molecule has been observed in a cell containing dense sodium and cesium vapors irradiated by the 514.5 nm Ar+ laser line. The band is assigned to the d 3-PI → a 3-SIGMA+ electronic transition.
