Abstract: The exploitation of a THz frequency comb for absolutely-referenced THz spectroscopy is presented. The frequency of a 2.5-THz QCL, phase-locked to the comb, is swept across a methanol line, providing the spectroscopy with and absolute-frequency scale. © 2013 IEEE.
