Abstract: Fluorescence angiography has become a very important diagnostic aid in modern clinical ophthalmology. The design and performance of a high-sensibility TV system incorporated into a standard fundus camera for the fundus eye analysis are described. Compared to the usual angiographic procedure, the new equipment has allowed the reduction of both eye exposure and dose of fluorescent dye injected intravenously to the patient. Examples of some choroidal angiograms obtained using this apparatus are presented.
