Abstract: The milimeter-wave, submillimeter-wave. and FIR spectra of the ground state of CHF3 have been observed and analyzed up to J = 78. The resulting spectroscopic constants are: B0/MHz = 10 348.8706(2), DJ/kHz= 11.34482(13), DJK/kHz = -18.11765(50), HJJJ/Hz= 0.020069(24), HJJK/Hz = -0.08598(10), HKKJ/Hz 0.11372(27), LJ/mHz = -0.669(16) × 10-4, LJJK/mHz = 0.4953(80) × 10-3, LJK/mHz = -0.1189(17) × 10-2, and LJKK/mHz = -0.1115(31) × 10-2. The splitting of the K = 3 ground state lines has been observed starting from the J = 29 ? 28 transition and the determined values of the splitting constants are h3/Hz = 0.29689(45) ×10-2 and dh3/Hz = -0.2054(52) × 10-7.
