Abstract: The nu1 fundamental band of (BrNO)-Br-79 and (BrNO)-Br-81 has been recorded at high resolution with a Fourier transform spectrometer. The band origin, the three rotational constants and a number of centrifugal distortion terms have been determined for both the isotopomers. The six values of the alpha1 vibration-rotation constants have been used to obtain a better determination of the cubic force field of nitrosyl bromide.
