Abstract: A solid phase oligonucleotide (ON) synthesis on porous silicon (PSi) chip is presented. The prepared Si-OH surface were analyzed by FT-IR and the OH functions were quantified by reaction with 3’-phosphoramidite nucleotide building block. Short ONs were synthesized on the chip surface and the coupling yields evaluated.
