Abstract: The CO2 refractivity has been measured at several CO2 laser lines with a better accuracy than in previous works. The observed dependence on frequency shows the effect of the CO2 absorption bands at 15 mu m and 4.3 mu m even if they are well far from the frequency region under analysis. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
