Abstract: We report an exact renormalization-group treatment for general Fibonacci chains, including the electronic tight-binding, phonon and diffusion problems. Analysis of the fixed points and the cycles yields the scaling properties of the states and spectra. As an example, we treat a lattice dynamic model.
