Abstract: The use of Talbot cavity together with a phase-correcting mirror on the 100 W class annular laser is studied. The cavity is based on: two cm long coaxial aluminum electrodes forming a 2.5 mm thick annular waveguide of central diameter 27.5 mm, a flat enhanced-silver coated silicon mirror, a flat ZnSe outcoupler and an aluminum spatial filter. The experimental results are described and compared with theoretical optimal expectations. Design parameters of the resonator are also discussed.
